Job Overview
Otro Night Club is seeking a detail-oriented Stock Controller to oversee inventory management and ensure efficient stock control processes. The ideal candidate will play a key role in preventing stock losses, maintaining accurate inventory records, and supporting smooth daily operations in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
This role is perfect for someone organized, analytical, and experienced in handling stock within bars, restaurants, hotels, or retail businesses.
Key Responsibilities
Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate stock records for beverages, bar supplies, and operational items
- Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and reconcile variances
- Monitor stock levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid shortages
- Track product movement and maintain inventory reports
Receiving & Issuing Stock
- Verify all deliveries against purchase orders and supplier invoices
- Inspect incoming goods for quality, quantity, and compliance with standards
- Record and issue stock to relevant departments following approved procedures
- Ensure proper storage and handling of stock items
Loss Prevention & Controls
- Identify and investigate stock variances, wastage, or shrinkage
- Implement stock control systems and procedures to minimize losses
- Support management in conducting periodic inventory audits
- Maintain proper documentation for all stock transactions
Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare regular stock reports for management review
- Work closely with procurement and accounting teams
- Support budgeting and cost control initiatives
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and operational standards
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience in stock control or inventory management
- Experience in hospitality, bar, restaurant, or retail environment is an advantage
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills
- Proficiency in Excel or inventory management systems
- High integrity and attention to detail

- Knowledge of bar and beverage stock management
