Job Purpose
To ensure safe, timely, and accurate delivery of company products to customers, distributors, or retail outlets while maintaining professional customer service and proper vehicle care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver products to customers, shops, warehouses, or distribution points within agreed timelines
- Load, secure, and offload goods carefully to prevent damage or shortages
- Verify delivery orders, collect proof of delivery, and maintain accurate delivery records
- Maintain regular communication with the supervisor, sales team, or dispatch office
- Carry out daily vehicle checks, report faults, and keep the vehicle clean and roadworthy
- Observe traffic laws, company policies, and safety standards at all times
- Represent the company professionally during customer interactions
Qualifications & Experience
- KCSE/Form Four certificate or equivalent
- Valid driving licence appropriate to the vehicle class, often Class B, BCE
- Proven experience of more than 5 years in delivery, logistics, or driving
- Good knowledge of Kisumu roads and surrounding routes is an advantage
- Good communication skills, honesty, reliability, and customer service orientation
